First, I would like to say that I was very happy with doing what I needed virtually without having to go to the embassy in-person. This app is a good start to convenient customer service, but the interface leaves a lot to be desired. One thing I noticed is that there is a “save and continue later” option, but when you return back to it at a later point, it won’t let you review/ edit what you have entered before you continue from where you left off, so you have to gather your documents first and do everything in one sitting. I didn’t realize this fast enough so I had to start multiple applications, which leads me to my second issue. The app won’t let you delete any application that you started working on but did not complete/ submit. Although I successfully completed and submitted an application and it was processed within 3 weeks (which is phenomenal), the app will not let me delete the ones I no longer need. I was looking for renewing my passport and find out this app is faster way to make it happen. I would like to appreciate everyone involved in this way to be happen. I do have some reflection and suggestions below.
Since the service fee is 100$ I was expected the passport will come back within 3 days like DHL or fedex shipments internationally. I hope the embassy fix the speed sooner.
I like how easy steps to do it but I want to suggest the developers to generate tracking numbers or link to follow up the status of the renewal. They text me it is accepted and will come back to me but I have no idea when it will be here. If it has tracking number or link I know everything about my passport. If this way announced to the people on media I believe many people will use this. Thanks 🙏
